We use cookies and similar technologies. Technically necessary cookies are always set. Statistics and marketing cookies are set only after you have given your consent in our cookie banner. Nothing beyond the technically necessary is loaded until you decide. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Your choice is stored in the first-party cookie sm_consent for 12 months. We also use Google Consent Mode so that Google services technically receive your decision.

With your consent we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, services of Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Tag Manager itself sets no analytics cookies; it loads the analytics tags. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to analyse how visitors use the website (pages visited, time on page, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type). IP addresses are truncated before storage. The resulting reports help us improve the website. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
With your consent we use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc., 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA, with data processed in HubSpot’s EU data centre. HubSpot sets cookies (for up to 13 months) that allow us to recognise returning visitors and to link website visits to contacts who have already been in touch with us. We also use HubSpot as our customer relationship management system to store and manage enquiries and business contacts. Standard contractual clauses and HubSpot’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework govern any transfer to the USA. Further information: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
This website uses fonts provided by Google (“Google Fonts”, Google Ireland Ltd.). When you open a page, your browser loads the fonts from Google servers, which transmits your IP address to Google. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a uniform and fast presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Some pages embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). When you play an embedded video, YouTube receives your IP address and may set cookies and collect usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Legal basis: consent given by starting the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Our website links to our LinkedIn company page (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). These are plain links; no data is transmitted to LinkedIn until you click them. When you visit our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.
We share personal data with the processors named above (hosting, analytics, CRM) and, where required, with authorities or professional advisers. Where data is transferred to countries without an adequate level of data protection (in particular the USA), we rely on the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework certifications of the recipient and/or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, supplemented where necessary by additional safeguards.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by statutory retention obligations (in particular commercial and tax law), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data rectified, to request erasure or restriction of processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, contact info@smartemis.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or, in the EU/EEA, the data protection authority of your place of residence.
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our website or legal requirements. The version published on this page applies.
